Charli XCX Plays a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Preview
Charli XCX is getting ready for a major film onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist portrays what she describes as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the star remarked.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea came from the expectation to create one.
A Sneak Peek into The Moment
The debut trailer, released on this week, combines actual recordings from her live performances with made-up behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who explained that the story revolves around a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices in the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.
