The actor shared archival material from the production, adding that he could not remember "any day without joy".

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Colleague and Comrade

In a separate piece, revered director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese shared.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

Recently, a Los Angeles judge decided to prevent the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.
