'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently halfway through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
