Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a event preceding the environmental conference, which is planned for in the Amazonian city of Belem.

Father and son were in attendance at the museum gathering, marking an unusual joint appearance at a environmental conference preliminary meeting arranged together with the British authorities.

Environmental Advocacy Dedication

King Charles has been a longstanding advocate of biodiversity preservation - and the Prince of Wales has assumed the responsibility, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be held in Brazil preceding the UN meeting.

Official representatives have characterized William's involvement at the forthcoming conference as taking on an important role in "environmental negotiations".
